Meet The Team

Rick Rojas

Rick embarked on his construction journey during college, co-founding a Handyman business in South Florida with a friend. Their services evolved from small tasks to comprehensive projects like kitchen remodels and commercial build-outs. In 1995, an opportunity arose to delve into land development and large-scale construction, propelling Rick into a Project Manager role.

After relocating to Leesburg in 1998, Rick joined a custom home builder and quickly advanced to Construction Manager. In 2001, a conversation with his mentor inspired Rick to start his own company. By March 2002, he founded RJ Builders

Following its establishment, RJ Builders showcased a Parade of Homes Model annually from 2004 to 2008. Remarkably, RJ Builders earned a 1st Place Blue Ribbon each year, distinguishing it as the sole builder to achieve this feat for six consecutive years in Lake and Sumter Counties. This recognition spanned price categories from $150,000 to $1,500,000, underscoring RJ Builders' commitment to excellence across diverse projects. Rick's dedication led to numerous awards for excellence in construction.

Rick's journey has evolved further as he now co-owns United Builders of Florida in the Treasure Coast and the Space Coast alongside a close friend experienced in local construction. Their shared vision continues crafting award-winning homes renowned for their superior quality.

George Lopez

A Space Coast native and Florida-licensed building contractor, George has a deep connection to the community he serves. With years of experience building homes throughout the region, he brings a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to creating homes that reflect each client’s vision.

George leads United Builders with a focus on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and clear communication from start to finish. He also serves on the board of the Space Coast Builders Association and Diamond Award in his category at the 2025 Parade of Homes.

For George, building is more than construction—it is about creating lasting value, earning trust, and delivering a home clients can be proud of.
